Tami Jasper, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles.

Tami is currently working at Nextdoor as the Lead of Talent Ops. Prior to this, they worked at Travis County as an HRIS Analyst/Interim Sr Recruiter. In this role, Tami consulted with HR liaisons to understand recruiting needs, promoted positions on social media platforms, and served as a system administrator for applicant tracking and onboarding software.

Before joining Travis County, Tami worked at the Port of San Diego as a Management Analyst. In this position, they collaborated with various departments and analyzed data to assist in HR programmatic analysis, implementation, and workforce planning. Additionally, they worked with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department to identify areas of improvement based on data analysis.

Tami also gained experience at Stanford University as an Executive Assistant, where they supported HR staff in recruiting strategies, developed job descriptions, and promoted positions internally and externally.

Earlier in their career, Tami held multiple roles at San Jose State University, including Health Services Coordinator and Student Services Associate. In these roles, they provided administrative support, maintained confidentiality of health records, and performed various tasks in the Registrar's Office.

Tami Jasper holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from San Jose State University, which they obtained between the years 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology with double minors in Physical Education and Nutrition from California State University, Chico, completing their studies between 2006 and 2010.

Additionally, Tami has obtained several certifications from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In October 2015, they received certifications in Effective Communication and Leadership and Influence. In September 2015, they earned certifications in Decision Making and Problem Solving, as well as Fundamentals of Risk Management.
