Tristan Eastburn

Tristan Eastburn has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Tristan is currently employed at Nextdoor as a Software Engineer since 2018. Prior to that, Tristan worked at Ellation as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2016 to June 2017, where they played a key role in building a custom CMS and optimizing APIs for VRV's mobile, living room, and desktop apps. Before that, they worked at Life360 as a Lead Engineer from November 2013 to June 2016, where they led backend teams and optimized access patterns for over 1 billion API requests per day. Tristan also worked at Ticketfly as an API Developer from April 2012 to October 2013, where they managed public APIs, enhanced search indexing, and implemented the company's first Apple Passbook. Additionally, they have experience working at Cozi Group, Inc. as a Scrum Master, Web Engineer, and Cozi.com Development Lead from September 2008 to April 2012, where they managed development teams, maintained multiple Linux servers, and built web service APIs. Tristan began their career at Sarah Lawrence College as a Senior Web Project Assistant and Lab Assistant for the Academic Computing Department from September 2004 to May 2008, where they designed and coded websites, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and worked independently. Finally, they had a role as a Front-end Development Lead and Web Development Intern at Jango from January 2007 to August 2007, where they implemented UIs, collaborated with various teams, and created dynamic Web 2.0 interfaces.

Tristan Eastburn began their education at Roosevelt High School, where they obtained a diploma from 2000 to 2004. They then proceeded to attend Sarah Lawrence College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at Sarah Lawrence College, Tristan studied Computer Science and Visual Arts.
