Stella Paffenholz

Stella Paffenholz, PhD, serves as a Principal at Nextech Invest, focusing on investments in public and private biotechs, particularly in oncology. Stella has led diligence processes for various companies, including Mariana Oncology, Ambrx, Tubulis, and others. Current roles include Board Observer for Delphia Therapeutics and Flare Therapeutics, along with advisory duties at Nucleate. Previously, Stella participated in Homeward Bound Projects to enhance women's impact in science, and contributed as a Venture Capital Fellow at Included VC. A former Venture Developer at Apollo Health Ventures and Ph.D. student at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Stella has extensive experience in cancer biology, reinforced by leadership roles in scientific organizations and an educational background that includes a PhD in Cancer Biology and advanced degrees in Molecular Biosciences.
