Girish Ramakrishnan

Girish Ramakrishnan has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Girish is currently the Director of India Product Engineering Program Management & Manufacturing Engineering at Nexteer Automotive, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to that, they were the General Manager - Head of India Engineering at Nexteer Automotive from September 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining Nexteer Automotive, Girish worked at Sogefi Group as the Head of Project Management for the Filtration Division from May 2015 to September 2018. Girish also held senior management positions at Nexteer Automotive from August 2004 to April 2015.

Girish began their career at RANE NSK Steering Systems Ltd in November 2002, where they served as a Senior Engineer responsible for product design and testing. Girish was in charge of designing steering columns and intermediate shafts, as well as overseeing the process validation of new products and managing the testing lab. Prior to that, Girish worked as a Product Engineer at Rambal Ltd from September 2000 to November 2002.

Girish Ramakrishnan has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hindustan College of Engineering, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Girish also attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2013, where they completed the Executive General Management Program (EGMP) with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
