Robert Valentino has extensive work experience spanning various roles within the automotive industry. Robert began their career at Tower Automotive in 1995 as a Cost Estimating/Manufacturing Engineer, responsible for quoting activities and the development of tooling costs. In 2000, they joined The Budd Company as a Product Engineer/Program Manager, where they played a key role in creating, designing, and implementing stamped body parts while ensuring manufacturability and ease of assembly.
Valentino then held positions at different companies, including Challenge Manufacturing as an Advance Sales Engineer/Account Manager, Tower Automotive as an Account Manager, TE Connectivity as a Business Development/Product Manager, and LTR Corporation as an Account Executive. In 2013, they joined FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as part of the Vehicle Cost Engineering team, where they managed cost development and coordinated with various disciplines to drive costing activities across the organization.
In 2015, Valentino joined Pittsburgh Glass Works as a Sales Manager, responsible for managing sales activities. Robert then moved on to Nexteer Automotive in 2017, where they held various roles, including Key Account Manager, Global Sales Director, and currently, Executive Global Sales Director. Throughout their career, Valentino has demonstrated expertise in sales management, cost engineering, business development, and product management.
Robert Valentino received their Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1998. Robert then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Walsh College from 2003 to 2005.
