Corporate HR Director at Nextep

Tracey Hixon has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as an HR Manager at Steelman Clinic, and from 2005 to present, they have been with Nextep, initially starting as a Senior HR Consultant and later becoming the Corporate HR Director. Through Nextep, Tracey partners with business owners and leaders, providing education, consultation, and advice on employment law matters and best practices. Tracey has also conducted targeted training for various trade organizations and businesses in Oklahoma and Texas.

Tracey Hixon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their degree, they have completed several certifications throughout their career. Tracey obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in June 2005. Later, in February 2014, they became a DISC Certified Facilitator through Thomas International. In January 2016, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Most recently, they completed a certificate program on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
