Sukanta Bhattacharjee

Sukanta Bhattacharjee, PE has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sukanta started their career as a Field Mechanical Engineer at Rural Power Company Limited in Bangladesh from 2008 to 2010. Sukanta then served as a Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University from 2012 to 2013. Simultaneously, they were also a Research Assistant at the Turbine innovation and energy research center at Louisiana State University from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they worked at Fluor Corporation as a Stress Engineer from 2013 to 2018. Sukanta then joined UniversalPegasus International, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries, as a Lead Pipeline Engineer from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Engineer at NextEra Energy Services since 2022.

Sukanta Bhattacharjee, PE holds a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University (2010-2013) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2003-2007). Additionally, Sukanta is a certified Professional Engineer granted by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in 2018.
