Jace Haestad

Jace Haestad serves as the Director of Risk & Credit Exposure Management at NextEra Energy, Inc. since November 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Manager, Trading Risk Management. Prior experience includes a tenure at Goldman Sachs from December 2012 to December 2021, where Jace served as Vice President, leading the Americas Equity Synthetics Middle Office, and earlier roles as an Associate and Analyst in equity synthetics servicing and credit derivatives. Educationally, Jace holds a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Wesleyan University, where Jace also contributed as the Head Experimental Research Physicist, conducting significant research on the deuterium molecule and managing advanced experimental equipment.
