Mark Busse

Mark Busse serves as the Director of Executive & Corporate Communication for both Florida Power & Light and NextEra Energy, Inc. since December 2011, where responsibilities include preparing presentations and speeches for senior executives and developing training programs to enhance communication skills across the organization. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for Senator John Cornyn and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, as well as a Senior Director for Speechwriting at The White House under President George W. Bush. Additional roles include advising at the U.S. Department of State and the Executive Office of Governor Jeb Bush, where Busse was the Chief Speechwriter. Mark Busse's educational background includes a Master's in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins and a Bachelor's in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.
