Matt Sannes

Matt Sannes has a range of experience in engineering and program management roles. Matt is currently working at Nextern as the Global Operations Engineering Director, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Medtronic from 2019 to 2023 as a Senior Program Manager. From 2015 to 2019, they held various positions at Smiths Medical, including Senior Manager of Strategic Program Management and Engineering Manager. Before that, they worked at HLT Medical as a Senior Process Development Engineer from 2014 to 2015. Matt also has experience at St. Jude Medical as a Senior Process Development Engineer from 2007 to 2014, and at Emerson Process Management as a Project Engineer from 2004 to 2007. Matt began their career at Sioux Manufacturing as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2003 to 2004.

Matt Sannes has a strong educational background in both business management and mechanical engineering. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Later, they pursued further education in the field of Business Management and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

Additionally, Matt has a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt, although the specific institution and date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
