Timur Khannanov

Timur Khannanov is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in various security roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security at Nexters since July 2023, Timur is responsible for establishing and implementing the information security program in an international game development context. Previously, Timur held the position of Lead Security Engineer at MetaMap, where efforts focused on creating unified online identities to overcome barriers in business growth. Prior roles include Senior Application Security Analyst at Luxoft, Cyber Security Expert in a self-employed capacity, Head of Information Security Direction at Softline Company, and Lead Information Security Specialist at Uralsib. Timur possesses an Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security from Ufa State Aviation Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of the People.
