Taylor Silver

Taylor Silver, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. They began their career as a Sales Representative at Sunlight Corporation in 2009. In 2010, they worked as an Assembly Worker at Mainland Machine, where they demonstrated attention to detail and time management skills.

In 2013, Taylor joined the University of California, Santa Cruz, taking on various roles such as Receptionist/Admin Assistant, Hiring Committee member, Instructional Assistant, Statistician & Event Staff, Building Operations Attendant, and Administrative Office Assistant. During their time at UC Santa Cruz, Taylor gained experience in managing registrations, payments, and refunds, as well as evaluating applicants for a key role and assisting with training.

From 2013 to 2014, Taylor served as an Ambassador & Treasurer at the University of California Education Abroad Program, where they conducted peer-to-peer marketing, event planning, and financial budgeting.

In 2014, Taylor transitioned to Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort and Spa as a Wedding & Event Coordinator. In this role, they assisted the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Catering, coordinated weddings and other events from start to finish, managed deposits, and conducted site tours. They were also responsible for preparing and distributing event documents such as estimates, itineraries, and thank you/evaluation letters.

Since 2016, Taylor has been working at NextFlex, initially as an Executive Team Assistant, then as an HR & Office Manager, and currently as the Director of Human Resources. Their responsibilities involve managing human resources and office operations, overseeing employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.

Throughout their work experience, Taylor has demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Taylor Silver, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from San Jose State University, which was earned between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology at both the University of California, Santa Cruz (2010-2014) and The University of Manchester (2012-2013). Additionally, Taylor engaged in continued education in Business Administration and Management at Ohlone College in 2017 and De Anza College in 2016.
