Eric Smith

Eric Smith is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in Java and web development, currently employed at NextGear Capital since December 2014. Prior to this role, Eric spent over eight years as a Principal Software Developer at VFA and has held various positions at Liberty Mutual, including Sr. Software Developer and Web Developer. Eric's career began in 1984 as a Computer Programmer at EG&G Technical Services, and includes significant experience with advanced systems analysis at EDS, where various programming languages such as C++ and PL/1 were utilized alongside web development tasks. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
