Warren Barnes

Warren Barnes, MBA, is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web development and systems engineering. Currently serving as Software Engineer III at NextGear Capital since January 2015, Warren is involved in rewriting the company's external web portal utilizing React, Material UI, and ViTest. Previous roles include Senior Systems Engineer at Freedom Mortgage and Senior System Developer at FCCI, where responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing server applications and developing company web portals, respectively. Warren's career began in programming roles at IBM and Professional Data Management, with additional experience in senior software engineering positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Indiana Lumbermens. Warren holds a Master of Information Science in IT Organizational Management and Leadership from The University of Arizona Global Campus and a degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Indianapolis.
