Shane Lamotte

Shane Lamotte has a diverse work experience in the IT and technology industry. Shane started their career as a VP Events & Marketing and Technical Director at Autism Today, where they managed network administration, event planning, marketing coordination, and technical direction. Shane then established a development and design company called Zen Digital Design, specializing in ecommerce solutions and digital/print marketing collateral.

After that, they worked as an eCommerce Consultant, Presenter/Trainer at Conscious Commerce, where they engaged with corporate clients and stakeholders to develop their business technology and optimize processes through automation tools.

Shane then joined Canon Canada as an Associate Solutions Consultant, providing pre and post-sales support for Canon software solutions. Shane also worked as a Solutions Consultant, specializing in solutions architecture for production workflows, print management, and document management.

Following their time at Canon Canada, Shane joined NextGen Automation as an Information Technology Solutions Consultant, managing the deployment of IT services and providing technical expertise during sales processes. Shane later became the Information Technology Manager, overseeing daily operations, aligning technology policies with corporate goals, and implementing transformative business technology. Currently, Shane holds the position of Vice President Operations, where they are responsible for managing service delivery, leading day-to-day operations, and optimizing efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.

Shane Lamotte attended Canon Academy from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a degree in Workflow Solutions. Shane'sfield of study included Output Management, Workflow Optimization, Enterprise Solutions, and Document Management. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Kwalicum Secondary School from 2000 to 2002, earning a High School Diploma. Shane'scoursework at Kwalicum Secondary School focused on Information Technology, Music Composition, and Video Production.

In addition to their formal education, Shane Lamotte has obtained various certifications. These include the Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in April 2023, the Microsoft Adoption Service Specialist certification from Microsoft in April 2020, the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification from CompTIA in July 2018, and the Content Central & Capture Point certification from Ademero, Inc. in February 2018. Shane also obtained the PRISMAdirect certification from Oce in March 2016, the PaperCut Sales Specialist certification from PaperCut Software in October 2015, the PRISMAsync Colour Technologies certification from Canon Canada in August 2015, and the Certified Fiery Professional certification from EFI in February 2015. Additionally, they hold the PDF Pro Sales Associate Degree from Nuance Communications, earned in November 2014, the eCopy ShareScan v5 certification from Canon Canada in October 2014, the uniFLOW v5.4 certification from NT-ware Systemprogrammierung GmbH in September 2014, and the Therefore 2015 certification from Canon Canada in June 2014. Furthermore, they have obtained the Certified Authorized Local Expert certification from Constant Contact in January 2013 and the Internet Marketing University Certificate in January 2003.
