Kim Vender Moffat

Kim Vender Moffat is an Investor in Residence at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the founder of Rosa Partners, where she focuses on supporting founders and management teams through investment, advising, and board roles. She is a tenured private equity investor and previously was a partner at Sterling Partners, a small-middle market private equity firm based in Chicago. At Sterling, Kim invested in and served on the boards of various healthcare, education, and consumer services companies.

During part of her time at Sterling, she also led Investor Relations, quarterbacking fundraises in excess of $1B, as well as overseeing the Business Development and Firm Strategy functions. In addition to her corporate board roles, she is engaged in several civic boards, including A Better Chicago, The Chicago Botanic Garden, and Harvard College Fund. Kim currently serves as a board member for the Impact Engine private equity fund.
