Robin George

Head of Marketing at NextGen.Net

Robin George has extensive work experience in marketing and brand management. They started their career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Distefora Mobile/Minick DE in 2001. They then worked as an Account Co-ordinator and later as an Account Manager at Evolve Marketing in Brisbane, Australia. In 2004, they joined DesignStreet as an Account Manager and later became an Account Director.

In 2006, they joined JPMH as a Senior Account Manager and eventually became an Account Director. They then moved to Syzygy in 2007, where they worked as an Account Director. In 2009, they joined Ogilvy & Mather as a Senior Account Director and later became a Group Account Director.

In 2011, Robin joined CX Lavender as a Group Account Director before moving to ING Australia in 2013. At ING Australia, they held various roles, including Manager of Customer Communications, Brand and Creative Manager, Senior Brand Marketing Manager, and Manager of Creative Services.

In 2018, Robin joined Tyro Payments as the Head of Brand and Communications, where they were responsible for rebranding and relaunching the company. They later became the Acting Chief Marketing Officer, leading the Marketing function and focusing on brand and acquisition growth.

Robin's most recent role is as the Head of Marketing at NextGen, starting in 2023.

Robin George earned a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing and Economics from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) from 1996 to 1999.
