Steven Marshall

As Chairman, Steven brings over 35 years of construction, electricity transmission and telecommunication infrastructure experience. From 2009 to 2018, he was the President of American Tower Corp’s U.S. business, a Fortune 500, NYSE listed telecommunications infrastructure business.

Prior to joining American Tower Corp, he was the CEO of National Grid Wireless in the UK and USA. Over his career he has held multiple board positions. He was Director of the Wireless Infrastructure Association, USA, for 8 years and its Chairman in 2017 and 2018; a Director of the Competitive Carriers Association; and a Director of CTIA – the US Wireless Communications Association, and Federated Wireless, the innovative Spectrum Access Service provider for the recently released 3.5Ghz spectrum in the USA. He has also been a director of Freeview, and Digital UK; the Executive Chairman of Intelig, a long distance telecommunications network in Brazil, a joint venture between France Telecom, Sprint and National Grid; and Chairman of Silica Networks, Argentina.

Steven holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Building and Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, and an MBA from the Manchester Business School. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institute of Management and the Institute of Directors.
