Alioune Léonce Gueye

Alioune Léonce Gueye has a range of experience in legal counsel and administrative roles. Alioune Léonce currently works as a Senior Legal Counsel, Privacy & Technology at Nexthink, starting in March 2023. In this position, Alioune Léonce is responsible, among other things, for negotiating commercial contracts in the Southern and Central European regions, and ensuring, on a global level, privacy and AI compliance. He is also an active member of the Nexthink AI Committee, contributing to cross-functional discussions on AI governance and strategy. Prior to this, they held various positions at Atos, including Member of Atos Scientific Community and Legal Counsel in Global Procurement, Intellectual Property, and Data Governance. Alioune Léonce worked at Atos from September 2019 to April 2023. Before joining Atos, they worked at Reputation Squad as part of the Legal Team, where they focused on personal data protection and privacy, intellectual property, e-reputation, and digital law. Alioune Léonce held this position from March 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, they have experience as an Administrative Secretary at Crous Grand-Est from July 2017 to February 2019.

Alioune Léonce GUEYE pursued a Master's degree in Business Law at the University of Strasbourg from 2016 to 2017. Later, from 2017 to 2018, they attended the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI, where they obtained an LLM in International and European Intellectual Property Law, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. In 2018, they pursued a Master's degree 2 in the Law of the Digital Economy at the University of Strasbourg. Along with their education, Alioune also obtained various certifications. In August 2021, they completed a certification in "L'intelligence artificielle et le RGPD" from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they obtained a certification in "HandiManager" from Companieros. In September 2019, they achieved a certification in "Certificat Informatique et Internet -C2i-Niveau 2 Métiers du droit (DSI701-201)" from the University of Strasbourg. In March 2019, they completed a MOOC certification in "L'Atelier RGPD" from CNIL. Furthermore, in August 2017, they acquired a certification in "European Business Law: Understanding the Fundamentals" from Lund University.

In 2024, Alioune Léonce and their team won the WorldCC Leaders of the Future – EMEA award for their presentation on AI and the future of contracting. In 2025, they contributed as a member of the AI and Privacy Working Group that authored and published the African AI Privacy Report.
