Ana Petkovska

Ana Petkovska has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ana currently works at Nexthink, where they started in 2018. Their most recent role is Engineering Manager, Developer Experience, which they started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Lead, Engineering Productivity from October 2021 to January 2023. Before joining Nexthink, Ana worked as a DevOps Engineer at the same company from November 2019 to September 2021, where they collaborated closely with R&D teams, developed build automation tools, and supported software engineers. Prior to their time at Nexthink, Ana served as a Software Development Engineer from July 2018 to November 2019, focusing on designing and implementing features for the Windows Collector agent.

In terms of their education and early career, Ana worked as a Doctoral Assistant at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from September 2011 to August 2017. Before that, they were a Laboratory Assistant at the Faculty of electrical engineering and information technologies in Skopje from October 2010 to January 2011. Additionally, Ana gained experience as an Internship Student at EPFL through the Summer@EPFL program, where they worked on a project titled "In Search of a Faster Multiplier: A voyage from Wallace-Tree to Correlation-Based" in July and August 2009.

From 2011 to 2017, they attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer and Communication Sciences.

Prior to their doctoral studies, they attended Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering and Information Technologies (Informatics and Computer Engineering).

In addition to their formal education, Ana Petkovska completed a certification in "Developing a Google SRE Culture" from Coursera in July 2020.
