Vinay Sachdev

Vinay Sachdev has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vinay is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Nexthink since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Oracle India Pvt. Ltd for almost ten years, where they held multiple roles including Principal Member Technical Staff and Technical Lead in the GoldenGate team. During their time at Oracle, they were granted a patent and filed another patent related to database replication and simulation.

Before joining Oracle, Vinay worked as a Tech Lead at Yahoo from September 2011 to October 2013. Vinay also gained valuable experience as a Senior Design Engineer at GE Healthcare from January 2010 to August 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Team Lead at Cranes Software International Ltd, where they contributed to the development of statistical software. Vinay also briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Churchill Software Services India Ltd and as a Trainee at Bharti Telnet Ltd.

Vinay Sachdev completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics (Hons) from Ranchi University between 1994 and 1998. Vinay later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science (MCA) from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, which they completed between 1999 and 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Vinay also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Vinay completed a course titled "Parallel and Concurrent Programming with C++ Part 1" from LinkedIn Learning in November 2021. In May 2019, they obtained a certification for completing the "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World (Blinkist Summary)" course offered by Lynda.com. Furthermore, in October 2014, Vinay acquired a certification in "Algorithmic Thinking" from Coursera. Lastly, they completed a course in "Machine Learning" from Coursera in July 2012.
