Christian Bluechel

Christian Bluechel is a highly experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering and synthetic organic chemistry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Nextkidney since April 2019, Christian has previously held significant roles at Temasek Polytechnic, including Head of R&D and Section Head of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center, as well as Research Scientist. Earlier in his career, Christian was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University, specializing in synthetic organic chemistry. Academic credentials include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from ETH Zürich and a Diploma in Organometallic Chemistry from the University of Regensburg, complemented by studies at the University of Aberdeen.
