Daniel Gottfried has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Intern at Baycrest Health Sciences. In 2013, they held multiple positions, including being a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, a Science and Marketing Analyst at Greybrook Capital, and a Growth Lead at Tilt (acquired by Airbnb), where they established growth models and led campus teams. From 2016 to 2018, Daniel served as the Vice President of Business Development at Optique, focusing on global partnerships and business development in AR/VR technologies. In 2019, they co-founded Highrise AI, where they automated interactions between connected devices and formulated the company's vision and customer acquisition strategies. Since 2022, Daniel has been working as the SVP New Ventures at NEXTOLOGIES, and also as the Co-Founder of the Industry 4.0 Club, aiming to educate others about Industry 4.0.
Daniel Gottfried attended the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management Studies, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2021, they completed a Certificate program in Digital Leadership & Innovation at BrainStation.
