Jared S.

Jared S. is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in medical device development and manufacturing. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at NextPhase Medical Devices since June 2017, Jared has successfully architected a Transfer to MFG SOP to enhance compliance with ISO 13485. Previously, as Senior New Product Development Engineer, Jared led a COVID-19 response project that rapidly transitioned a ventilator disposable accessory from RFQ to production, resulting in 45,000 units produced in six months. With earlier roles as New Product Development Engineer at Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing, Inc., Mechanical Engineer at DEKA Research & Development, and Manufacturing Engineer at NHBB, Jared has demonstrated expertise in product design, validation protocols, and process improvement, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a certificate in Engineering Leadership from Cornell University.
