Syrine Chaalala

Syrine Chaalala has been working in various roles since 2006. Syrine began their career with the FAO as an Emergency Operations Officer in 2006. In 2011, they became an Operations Officer/Coordinator and Information Officer. In 2013, they were promoted to Programme and Resource Mobilization Officer and Emergency Operations Officer. Syrine then served as an Operations Officer/Project Manager. In 2015, they became Co-founder and General Manager of nextProtein and also held the role of Emergency Operations Officer at FAO.

Syrine Chaalala's education history consists of five periods of study. From 1990 to 1995, they attended Lycée Français de New York. From 1995 to 1996, they attended Lycée Denis Diderot, French School Nairobi. From 1996 to 1998, they attended International School of Kenya. From 1999 to 2002, they attended Concordia University. Finally, from 2014 to 2016, they attended SOAS University of London, where they obtained a Master's degree in Sustainable Development.
