Toshiyuki KITA

Toshiyuki KITA has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at 三井情報(株) as a Machine Learning Researcher and System Engineer. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at 株式会社北極東洋 as a Machine Learning Engineer. Since 2019, they have been working at Nextremer as the VP of Engineering, where their roles include managing teams of 10-20 people, developing software engineering, managing resources, making project development decisions, selecting existing projects, removing images from images, using deep learning for image recognition, estimating one-time production for production, researching text generation technology, analyzing customer text data, developing conversation systems (40 people per month), maintaining conversation systems, and supporting PM for one-time production forecasting. Toshiyuki has also been involved in public information disclosure, such as the export forecast system development (High Knowledge IoP project) for the three-year period.

Toshiyuki KITA attended Tohoku University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics. Toshiyuki then returned to Tohoku University from 2011 to 2013 to obtain a Master's degree in Geophysics. In addition, KITA obtained certifications in Deep Learning for GENERAL 2018#2 from the Japan Deep Learning Association in November 2018, an Applied Information Technology Specialist certification from the (Independent) Information Processing Promotion Agency in December 2014, and a Basic Information Technology Specialist certification from the (Independent) Information Processing Promotion Agency in November 2012.
