Maria Canfield

Maria Canfield has a long and varied work history. Maria began their career in 1989 as the Director of Benefits Plan Services for the Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church. From 1994 to 2006, they held various roles at Telerx, including Vice President/General Manager, and Alliance Healthcare Information, Inc., where they were the Vice President of Call Center/Client Services. In 2010, they were the Site Director of the Health Assistance Center for Accolade LLC. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Director of Client Services for Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare plc. In 2014, they founded MMC Words Etc., a remote/virtual service specializing in writing personal memoirs and autobiographies. In 2015, they became the Director of Content Development for NextShift\u2122, a multi-national technology and marketing firm. Finally, in 2019, they were appointed Head of Project Management at Diligent Health Solutions. In 2018, they co-founded Your Words Your Story, which offers a variety of memoir writing packages.

Maria Canfield holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Temple University and a Certificate in Editing from Poynter News University/ACES (American Copy Editors Society).
