Jake Thiem

Jake Thiem has a diverse work experience in various fields including robotics, entertainment, software design, security, and military. Jake is currently working as a Robotics/Embedded Software Engineer at NextStep Robotics since February 2022. Prior to this, Jake worked as a Software Design Engineer at Communication Systems Solutions, Inc. from May 2016 to January 2022. Jake also interned at the same company as a Software Design Engineer Intern from December 2015 to May 2016. Jake was a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from August 2011 to May 2016. Jake was also associated with Executive Protection Inc as a Security Associate from November 2011 to April 2013. In the military, Jake served in the US Army as a Satellite Communications Technician 1C from June 2009 to April 2011 and as a Cavalry Scout from April 2005 to May 2009.

Jake Thiem attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2011 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Twin River Public School from 1997 to 2001, receiving a High School Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Jake has obtained a certification in "Introduction to Software for Medical Devices and IEC 62304" from Greenlight Guru in February 2022.
