Huub Waterval

Huub Waterval has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Huub started their career as a Project Manager at KPN, where they worked on eFacilities projects from 2001 to 2003. Huub then moved on to Essent, where they held positions as a Project Manager for eProcurement and later as Manager of IT Business Support from 2003 to 2007. At TopForce, they served as a Senior Manager from 2007 to 2009.

In 2009, Huub joined Nextview Consulting as the Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the company's digital transformation projects and specializing in Salesforce consulting in Europe. Huub has been instrumental in driving the company's success and facilitating clients' adoption of Salesforce.

Huub has also been involved in various advisory and board positions. Huub became a Certified B-Corp for B Lab Europe in 2015 and joined REMIQZ Football Analytics as a Board Member from 2015 to 2019. Huub served as a Board Member for DesignWeek@school from 2016 to 2019.

In recent years, Huub's focus has shifted towards social impact and entrepreneurship. Huub joined Plastic Whale as a Board Member in 2017, contributing to the company's mission to rid the world's waters of plastic waste. Huub also became a Member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and held multiple roles within the organization, including Member of Quantum Leap 2, NL Board Member/Impact Chair, and Member of Forum 18.

Additionally, Huub co-founded Maas Cleanup in 2019 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board, further demonstrating their commitment to making a positive environmental impact.

Throughout their career, Huub Waterval has showcased their expertise in digital transformation, project management, and social entrepreneurship, making significant contributions to the organizations they have been a part of.

Huub Waterval has a diverse educational background. In 2022, they attended INSEAD to complete the Inspiring High Performance Cultures Program. Prior to that, in 2019, they participated in the Entrepreneurial Strategy program at Harvard Business School Executive Education. In 2015, Waterval pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nyenrode Business University, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, in 2016, they attended Stellenbosch University, focusing on Multiculturism and International leadership, Economic and Development Issues, as well as International Finance. In 2015, they studied "Doing Business in China - Global Sourcing, Outsourcing & Offshoring" at Renmin University of China. Earlier in their career, they engaged in a Management Development Program (Essent) at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2005-2006. Waterval also holds a degree in Social Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), which they earned from 2001 to 2004. Huub began their higher education journey at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued Facility Management from 1997 to 2001.

Furthermore, Waterval has obtained additional certifications. In December 2020, they became a Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant through Trailhead. Huub also holds a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification, which they earned in November 2019.
