Josef Kastner

Josef Kastner is a seasoned executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Geschäftsführender Partner at Nexun Solar since January 2023. Previously, Kastner held the position of CEO Europe at ReneSola Ltd. from August 2014 to December 2022, where responsibilities included business development for photovoltaic projects across several European countries, project financing, and M&A activities. Prior experience also includes leadership roles at EQOS Energie Österreich GmbH, Alpine-Energie, Postimmobilien, Delta Projektconsult, and Achammer-Tritthart-Partner, with a strong focus on renewable energy project development, engineering, and management. Kastner holds diplomas in civil engineering with a specialization in economics from Technische Universität Wien and earlier education from Technische Universität Graz.
