Rachel Gerrol co-founded NEXUS Global in 2011 and served as the CEO. NEXUS is an international network of next-gen philanthropists, impact investors, and social innovators. Under Rachel's leadership, NEXUS hosted numerous summits and collaborated with the UN, heads of state, and leading NGOs to offer insights and support key initiatives. Rachel also worked as the Founding Executive Director at PVBLIC Foundation from 2012 to 2015, where they leveraged media and advertising assets to drive social change by granting media space to non-profits. Prior to that, Rachel held the position of Director of Young Adult Initiatives at the Charles & Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation in 2010. Rachel began their work experience as a Special Assistant to Ambassador Nancy Rubin from 2002 to 2010.
Rachel Gerrol attended the University of Pennsylvania where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Before attending university, Rachel attended Emma Willard School. Rachel also attended Princeton High School. However, no specific degree or field of study is provided for their secondary education.

We conduct research and provide thought leadership to facilitate collaboration and build a global culture of philanthropy. We convene working groups on critical social issues and collaborate with the UN and heads of state on launching new initiatives that serve humanity. NEXUS puts the hope and promise of young people on the world stage by bringing together leaders at regional NEXUS events for inspiration, education, dialogue, and collaborative problem-solving. We have hosted over 40 Summits across six continents to connect young people from diverse backgrounds and link communities that would otherwise never meet. We have membership from over 70+ countries and have hosted summits at The United Nations, The White House, No. 10 Downing Street and with the First Lady of Australia. We envision a global community that promotes a just and sustainable world that celebrates diversity and governs by the paradigm that “we are all in this together.”
