Kako Kvantaliani has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. In 2003, they began working in various companies across IT, communications, FMCG, advertising, and construction. From 2009 to 2012, they served in the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, initially as the Technical Assistant of the General Director and later as the Head of Engineering Department. In 2012, they joined the Ministry of Energy of Georgia as the Deputy Minister. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Advisor of the Economic Council at the Administration of the Government of Georgia. In 2016, they became the Head of the Material and Technical Service Department (Operations) at Liberty Bank. In 2018, they engaged in consulting work at NETAş and managed multiple software development projects at R2, where they also incorporated NestJS into their skillset. Since 2012, they have been self-employed as an Advisor. Currently, they are holding the position of Chief Technology Officer at Nexus and shopshop.ge, where they led the development and migration of platforms, implemented technologies like NestJS microservices, MongoDB, React, and Ionic Capacitor for the mobile application launch.
Kako Kvantaliani started their education at 6th German Gymnasium, where they completed their high school education from 1989 to 2000. After that, they participated in an exchange program at Schloss Neubeuern in 1999-2000 as an invited foreign student. Moving forward, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at European School of Management (ESM Tbilisi) from 2000 to 2004. Lastly, they attended Moscow Institute of State and Corporate Governance and obtained a Master's degree in Economics from 2013 to 2015.
