Gray McCalley

Gray McCalley, Jr. serves as General Counsel at Nexus Circular since January 2023, contributing to efforts to mitigate the plastic waste crisis through advanced recycling technologies. In addition to this role, McCalley has been a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law since September 2005, teaching an anti-discrimination employment law course. Previous experience includes serving as Counsel at Taylor English Duma LLP and as an Assistant Professor of German at Kennesaw State University. McCalley's extensive legal background encompasses roles as General Counsel at Printpack and Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Division Counsel at The Coca-Cola Company, along with initial experience as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State and Associate Attorney at Alston & Bird. McCalley holds a JD from Duke University School of Law, a BA in German Language and Literature from the University of South Carolina, and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Bonn studying History and Political Science.
