Matthew Asher Derrico is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, Reliability Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer at Nexus Circular since February 2019. Within this role, Matthew contributes to advanced recycling technology that transforms landfill-bound plastics into sustainable circular feedstocks for the production of virgin plastics. Prior to this, Matthew interned at ACC GARAGE from February 2012 to December 2014, where responsibilities included rebuilding and repairing vehicle components, conducting quality assurance tests, and maintaining the workspace. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Georgia College & State University (2012-2015).
