Drew Matthews

Drew Matthews is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in project coordination and engineering design. Currently employed at Nexus Engineering Group, LLC since February 2021, Drew holds the titles of Mechanical Engineer and Project Coordinator I. Previous experience includes an engineering internship at Channel Products, where Drew focused on 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and project implementation. As a Research Assistant at Cleveland State University, Drew developed Matlab code for motion detection and collaborated on problem-solving within a research team. Earlier roles include an Engineer & Quality Control Intern at Hexagon Industries, where Drew engaged in design and quality control processes, and a Mathematics Learning Assistant at Cleveland State University. Drew's educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University, as well as Associate degrees in Science and Arts from Cuyahoga Community College.
