Joseph Kass has extensive work experience in the field of neurology and healthcare. Joseph started their career in 2005 at Baylor College of Medicine, where they held various roles, including Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Medical Ethics, Director of the Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Center, Associate Dean of Students, Vice Chair for Education in Neurology, and Assistant Dean of Students. In 2021, they joined Nexus Health Systems as Chief of Neurology. Additionally, they served as the Chief of Neurology at Ben Taub General Hospital from 2005 to 2020.
Joseph Kass attended Amherst College from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Russian Language and Literature. Joseph then pursued their legal education at Columbia University from 1991 to 1994, obtaining a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Following this, Joseph attended Baylor College of Medicine from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine.
