Ian Long

Ian Long is a Project Development Engineer at Nexus Solutions since February 2023, with a significant background in energy solutions. Previously, as a Project Leader at Ameresco from January 2021 to March 2022, Ian managed energy savings projects encompassing performance contracting, power generation, end-use supply agreements, and renewable energy initiatives. Ian also served as an Energy Solutions Development Engineer at Johnson Controls from January 2010 to May 2020, leading multiple energy engineering projects across the U.S. Academically, Ian holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a degree in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
