Daniela Herrera

Daniela Herrera is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in wound care and clinical leadership. Currently serving as the Regional Clinical Director at Nexus Wound Consultants since May 2025, Daniela previously held roles as a Family Nurse Practitioner at WoundCentrics and Lansthul Regional Medical Center from August 2019 to April 2025. Earlier experience includes serving as Unit Director at Santa Rosa Wound Care and Director of Clinical Services at 1224 Ltd. Daniela began a nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Hospital from January 2007 to August 2010. Daniela holds a Master's degree in Family Practice Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a specialization in Wound, Ostomy, and Incontinence Nursing Science from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University.
