Joao Guimaraes possesses extensive experience in hardware engineering, currently serving as the Hardware Engineering Guild Lead at Nexxiot since November 2021, where leadership focuses on improving hardware engineering practices and promoting best practices within the team. Previously held the position of Hardware Engineer at Nexxiot, specializing in ultra-low power battery-powered devices and managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to production. Prior experience includes a Hardware Engineer role at Autotrac Comércio e Telecomunicações S.A., developing electronic circuits and working with various communication protocols. Joao began professional training as a researcher in the CAPES program, gaining skills in data acquisition and circuit design. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidade de Brasília and additional studies in Instrument Engineering at Munster Technological University.
