Nicholas Chan has been working in the robotics field since 2006. Nicholas started their career as a Robotics Engineer at the National Robotics Engineering Center, NREC. During their time there, they designed and developed robotics software for a variety of platforms, and was the primary or sole developer on several full robotic systems. Nicholas also implemented novel solutions and researched existing approaches to robotics problems. In 2015, Nicholas moved to Neya Systems, LLC, where they worked as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer. During their time there, they developed robotics software for a variety of industry and government clients, and quickly integrated with existing teams to manage development efforts independently.
Nicholas Chan attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Robotics. Nicholas then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science.
