Lakshmi Karanth

Lakshmi Karanth serves as an Advisor for various social-impact organizations, engaging in partnerships, scaling, and operations since January 2024. Currently, Lakshmi is a Steward at LunARC DAO, where the mission focuses on establishing a community art gallery on the Moon to promote diversity and inclusion in space exploration. As a Founding Limited Partner of the Neythri Futures Fund, Lakshmi aims to enhance diversity within the venture capital ecosystem by empowering South Asian women as investors. In addition, Lakshmi is part of the Leadership Circle at Neythri.org, supporting leadership development among South Asian women. Previous roles include Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Strategic Partnerships at Pratham USA, Partner at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund, Co-founder of Ahaana.org, and various advisory positions related to corporate engagement and fundraising. Lakshmi holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and has an academic background in science.
