Viswanathan Thiagarajan

Viswanathan Thiagarajan has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in engineering and technology companies. Viswanathan is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Country Head at nference since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at nference from April 2018 to September 2021, where they worked on synthesizing biomedical knowledge through the nferX Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform.

Before joining nference, Viswanathan worked as a Head of Engineering at BlackBuck (Zinka Logistics Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) from July 2015 to January 2018. At BlackBuck, they contributed to the disruption of the freight industry in India through their online marketplace.

Viswanathan also held the role of a Senior Director at Xperi Inc. from March 2014 to June 2015, where they had leadership responsibilities.

Earlier in their career, Viswanathan worked as the Director of Software at Veveo from August 2005 to February 2014, and as an Engineering Manager at Winphoria-Motorola Core Networks Division from 2003 to 2005. Viswanathan also served as an Engineering Manager at Winphoria Networks from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their corporate roles, Viswanathan has also been a Member of the Board of Trustees at eVidyaloka Trust since February 2013, showcasing their involvement in nonprofit organizations.

From 1991 to 1995, Viswanathan Thiagarajan attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, although the degree name and field of study are not specified.
