David Klossner

David Klossner, Ph.D. has a distinguished career in the field of sports performance and student-athlete welfare. David currently holds the position of Director of Medical and Scientific Research at the NFL Players Association. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Sports Performance and Student-Athlete Welfare at the University of Maryland, where they also held the role of Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance. Before joining the University of Maryland, David worked as the Director of the NCAA Sports Science Institute at the NCAA. David has also held academic positions at DePauw University, the University of South Florida, and Ohio University, where they focused on athletic training education.

David Klossner, Ph.D. holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington. David went on to obtain their Ph.D. from Ohio University.
