Thom Mayer

Thom Mayer, MD, serves as the Executive Vice President of Leadership at LogixHealth since February 2022 and has been the Medical Director for the NFL Players Association since 2001. In addition, Mayer is a speaker for both the Executive Speakers Bureau and the Studer Group. As the founder of BestPractices, Inc., a role held since 1989, Mayer has contributed significantly to the field. Previously, from April 2011 to April 2018, Mayer was the National Executive Vice President at EmCare. Educational qualifications include a residency in Pediatrics/Surgery from the University of Utah (1977-1980), a Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University School of Medicine (1973-1977), and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology-Biology-Chemistry from Hanover College (1969-1973).
