Usman Syed

Usman Syed is a legal professional currently serving as a Summer Associate at Jones Day since May 2022. Previously, Usman has held various roles at the NFL Players Association since September 2017, including Assistant Quarterbacks Coach for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, where responsibilities included designing practice scripts and breaking down film, as well as conducting research for Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations. Usman also managed endorsement deals for NFL athletes, focusing on enhancing profitability related to Name, Image, and Likeness. Additional experience includes serving as a Resident Advisor at the University of Virginia, a Legal Intern at the Law Offices of Locklin & Mordhorst, and participating in an internship with the FBI's Future Agents In Training Program. Usman holds a Doctor of Law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
