Mary Ann Gomez Orta

Mary Ann Gomez Orta is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and communication. As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute since 2011, Mary Ann has focused on advancing the economic progress of the Hispanic community. Additionally, Mary Ann has served as a member of nFormation, a community for women of color, and has held a position on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility. With past roles including Adjunct Professor at American University, Executive Director of the National Association of Hispanic Publications, and President/CEO of Gomez Communications Group, Inc., Mary Ann has demonstrated a commitment to public relations, marketing, and advocacy for the Hispanic community. Mary Ann holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of the Pacific and an MBA in Management from Saint Mary's College of California.
