James Prewett

James Prewett is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in agricultural and property insurance. Currently serving as a Senior Agent at NFU Mutual since March 2017, James specializes in Farm, Estate, and Property Owner Insurance. As a Partner at Prewett & Drummond, James focuses on insuring farms, estates, country properties, commercial properties, and the food business sector. In addition, James holds a partnership role at NFU Mutual Winchester and Wickham, providing insurance services across Hampshire, London, and surrounding counties. Prior experience includes serving as Partner and Head of Regional Farm Sales at Knight Frank, where James was involved in the sale and purchase of farms and estates from 2008 to 2017, and previous roles at Brightwells Limited and Strutt & Parker in rural surveying and land agency. James holds a BSc (Hon) in Rural Land Management from the Royal Agricultural University and participated in further education at Cranfield University.
