John Lamswood is an experienced professional with a strong background in management consulting and business strategy. Currently serving as the Customer Services Strategy Business Lead and Business Architect at NFU Mutual since July 2017, John focuses on developing Target Operating Models to facilitate business change. Prior to this role, John consulted independently with JLT Business Solutions and held various positions at Accenture, including Management Consultant managing a Global Markets Operating Model Project. Noteworthy contributions also include leading a Mortgage Finance MI Reporting Workstream for a major retail bank and supporting project management efforts within a Global Investment Bank's PMO. John's earlier career includes roles at Deloitte and the BBC. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cardiff University, with education complemented by attendance at Torquay Boys' Grammar School.

When we started in 1910, our aim was to encourage farmers around Stratford-upon-Avon into the newly established farming union through cost price insurance. Before long, the business expanded beyond it's Midlands home, establishing branches across the United Kingdom. As farming diversified, so did we. Growing beyond agricultural insurance we used our life assurance, investments and pensions expertise to provide individuals and businesses with our renowned customer service. Today, our people continue to build relationships with their local communities, taking the time to understand their individual needs so that we can offer the insurance cover appropriate to them.
