Tessa Swanton is a Venture Fellow at NG Bio, where Tessa evaluates new drug targets and modalities for chronic inflammatory diseases. Prior to this, Tessa worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute and as a PHD Researcher at The University of Manchester. In addition to their research roles, Tessa has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Manchester Access Programme Tutor. Tessa has also been involved in Alzheimer's Research UK as an Early Career Representative. Tessa has a PhD in Neuroscience/Immunology from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool.
