Yusuf Nebi Bastas is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Group Director of Communications at NG Nordic since April 2023, where the focus is on circular solutions and environmental services. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Vice President - Group Head of Communication, overseeing a team at a portfolio company, and Head of Communication & PR at Asplan Viak AS, a consultancy in urban planning and environmental services. Additionally, Yusuf was the first Head of Sustainability at NHO, where sustainable strategies were developed for member services, and held a position at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Security, managing crisis communication. Yusuf's early career includes consultancy at Statnett SF and an internship at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Oslo. Educationally, Yusuf holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor's degree from the University College of Southeast Norway.
